Many Reasons to be Grateful (Thankful)
Psalms 100 1:4
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
1 Timothy 2:1
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.
I Thessalonians 5:18
in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Be Grateful for your life – you are here another day (don’t take life for granted, tomorrow is not promised) you’ve been bought with a high price, Jesus knows you’re valuable.

Be Grateful for your health – (you’re not in the hospital) your independent not dependent on others. He is your strength when you are weak (Isa. 40:29) (3 John 1:2)

Be Grateful for your sanity – (peace from God John 14:27) you’re able to use your mind (comprehend) you’re not delusional or have paranoia.

Be Grateful for your memory – you’re able to remember your identity and identify others, places, & things like where you parked your car.

Be Grateful you’re not addicted - to any substance abuse, pain pills, alcohol, smoking.

Be Grateful for your abilities – you’re not disabled, you’re able to use your hands to feel, feet to walk, eye’s to see, ears to hear, & mouth to speak and eat.

Be Grateful for your children - (your love ones) your grandkids, step kid’s, relatives, parents, and siblings (don’t take it for granted, they may not be here tomorrow.)

Be Grateful for your relationships – your marriage, husband, & or your wife

Be Grateful for your parents – They are still alive (cherish them while they are with you)

Be Grateful for your home – (home sweet home, home is where the heart is) it brings comfort, you are blessed to have your own place, this is your domain.

Be Grateful for your friends – (they are trustworthy, helpful, supportive, they bring encouragement)

Be Grateful for your freedom – In this country have the freedom of choice, freedom of speech, & freedom of religion.

Be Grateful for your job and benefits – (you have medical insurance, salary, 401 savings, checking account’s)

Be Grateful for finances that come in – you’re able to buy food, meet your needs, pay bills, fill your gas tank (3 John 1:2) prosper in health as your soul prospers

Be Grateful for Food in your refrigerator – you have food to eat when you please.

Be Grateful for your car – it runs, it is paid for or going to paid off, it is something you desire & now have/own.

Be Grateful for the extra thing’s you have – your computer, internet, cable, cell phone, tablets, jewelry, shoes, clothes, sports equipment, bikes, tools, blue-ray player, appliances, books, etc.

Be Grateful for your washing machine & dryer – that you do not have to go to the laundry mat.

Be Grateful for your salvation – You once we lost but now you are found, you have an identity in Christ.

Be Grateful for God’s protection – the safety of God. How many times can you remember when God saved your life? From anything like a car accident or has healed you.

Be Grateful for God - He is Merciful, Forgiving, Compassionate, Loving & your Healer.

Be Grateful that God has paid the price for us – we now can through Christ enter into Heaven and not have to go to hell. (John 3:16) Be glad (appreciative) what you have – in the little you do have or in much you have.
